Hello, and welcome to Geometry!

In the sequence of college preparatory math this is the second course that is to be taken after Algebra I and will then continue through to Algebra II. This course works to formulate and extend the Geometric concepts learned in previous courses. This is accomplished by building a formal understanding of the topics and establishing the criteria with which we will work under, while also using familiar concepts to guide students. Daily, we will be using and cultivating our problem-solving strategies, investigating, questioning, analyzing critically, gathering and constructing evidence, and communicating rigorous arguments justifying their thinking. Learning collaboration with others and sharing information, and ideas is key for students in this course. Students who complete this course will move on to Algebra 2 in the following year. This syllabus is to be used as a guide for Geometry Honors for the 2024 - 2025 school year.

*During this school year EOC tests will be taken in the spring with Performance test given in between to check for benchmarks!
