he following tests are offered at the middle school contests mathleague.org sponsors:
Sprint Round - This is a 40-minute test consisting of thirty questions. Students may not use calculators on this test.
Target Round - Four pairs of problems are administered, and students have 6 minutes to complete each pair. Students may use any calculator allowed for use on the SAT.
Team Round - Four team members work together for 20 minutes to answer ten questions. Students may use any calculator allowed for use on the SAT.
Countdown Round - These questions are administered one at a time to students who compete head to head to determine individual winners at each contest site. No calculators are allowed.
Answers must be fully simplified and, where appropriate, given in the format asked for in the question. Although measurement units are not required unless specified, any units written by the student as part of the answer must be correct for the problem to receive credit.

SAT Studies

Dear Parents,
We believe how important SAT is in your student’s college path and we would like to inform you about an opportunity we are offering at OSS to increase our student’s success on the SAT. All Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors should take the SAT before the ends. All the State Colleges and especially Top 20 and Ivy League Colleges require high SAT Scores. To be able to get high score in SAT, students should practice in a structured and scheduled time. OSS will offer every weekends SAT studies and strategies and help students practice and boost their SAT Scores.
Each week, we will focus on a different strand of review and students will solve the practice questions that are similar to ones on the SAT. The study will start at 9:00 AM with SAT Critical Reading/Writing and continue with SAT Mathematics at 10:30AM.
